The Manor is an idyllic, exclusive setting for Weddings

Weddings at The Manor are an entirely couture service. Our bespoke weddings do not adhere to set packages, so we have the flexibility to mould a celebration around your requirements. We offer the ceremony, reception and luxurious accommodation all in one beautiful, private location that can be entirely yours for the day, the weekend or more.

The wedding process includes a private viewing of the venue, the complimentary services of our professional event planners, who can help plan, organise and source all the services you need if you wish, and personal recommendations of our affiliated suppliers.

Ceremonies

The Banquet Hall and Drawing Room are both licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. The Banquet Hall boasts mediaeval grandeur beneath the giant inglenook fireplace and original oak panelling and can hold up to 60 guests seated or more standing. The Drawing Room is a gorgeously intimate room holding 20 guests seated or more standing, with a particularly cosy feeling for winter weddings.

All you need to do is contact the Taunton Deane Register Office to book the date with them once you have decided to get married at The Manor. Whilst our ceremony license fee is inclusive, the Registrar’s fee is paid directly to them.

Receptions

As The Manor is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, guests are free to roam wherever they like throughout the house and grounds. You could start with drinks on the croquet lawn before moving to a marquee overlooking the miniature lake for dinner and dancing.

The Banquet Hall can cater for 60 guests for a seated wedding breakfast or up to 90 guests for a standing buffet and drinks reception. More lavish parties for up to 400 revellers can be accommodated within marquees in the extensive manicured grounds.

Whether you need a marquee, entertainment or controlled fireworks displays, we can recommend someone to make your reception truly memorable.

Catering

Whether you choose bespoke seven-course menus for a few close friends and family or relaxed bangers and mash for everyone, our team of talented chefs are available to look after you and your guests’ every need. Our handpicked catering team, including a Michelin star chef, personally curate our visually stunning and imaginative menus.

Accommodation

Private exclusive use of The Manor during your celebration means that you will not encounter another soul for the duration of your stay. You and your party can choose to stay in the luxurious accommodation that sleeps 24 within The Manor.

Additional accommodation is available in the stunning on-site Lake House sleeping up to 10, or we’re more than happy to put you in touch with a wide variety of local accommodation providers.
