Mikael was born in Brittany and into a traditional French family cooking background. He inherited his passion for great food from his Grandmother, a Head Chef for over 40 years and his Grandfather, the local baker. Mikael has over 25 years of experience in the catering industry worldwide and was classically trained in some of France's most renowned restaurants (Michelin starred Le Goyen, Le Fouquet's Paris and Relais Bernard L'Oiseau)

Mikael's career spans from Head Chef for a Michelin star establishment to the Director of Food and beverage at some of Britain’s best Restaurants.
Established in Devon since 2005 Mikael has a gained an uncompromising reputation for the finest French cuisine in the South West & creates bespoke menus for The Manor Somerset clientele.
Sam first discovered a passion for kitchens at the age of 15 at The Sheaf Inn, West Haddon. Working every day after school he soon fell in love with the adrenalin and excitement of the catering world. Over the next 15 years Sam found himself in a variety of roles, from a cocktail bar tender to Thai chef, progressing to more exclusive private dining events until becoming a Senior Chef for Jamie Oliver. This led him to become Head Chef at River Cottage, Axminster.
Sam has joined a select team of handpicked Chefs available on request for The Manor & Manor Elite clientele offering a unique & boutique dining experience with bespoke menus only available to our clients from our kitchens.
Born, raised and trained in Cornwall, Dan is Master Chef of Great Britain and has won over 10 Gold and Silver Medals for cooking in live competitions. He has worked with some of the best chefs in the country and in some of the finest establishments including, Pennypots Restaurant, Gidleigh Park, Le Talbooth and Bailiffscourt Hotel.
Dan has a wealth of experience running his own outside catering company for the past 10 years. Over this time he has catered for celebrities including Jamelia and James Caan of Dragons’ Den. Dan can turn his hand to all styles of catering and no event is too large or small.
Dan has created a selection of bespoke menus exclusive to The Manor Somerset for our Exclusive Use and Manor Elite Clients. With his background and training, the quality of food and standards are maintained and delivered even on a large scale event.
